Additionally, journalists recalled a statement from Josiah Gater, vice president of the political marketing agency Harris Media, who believed that Musk's investments in the Republican campaign "lowered the barrier" for other supporters. In her opinion, "it became normal among young men to support Trump."
The US presidential election took place on November 5th. Trump announced his political victory the next day, declaring himself the 47th president of the United States.
The Republican has already begun forming his future cabinet. He appointed Susan Wiles as head of the White House office and nominated former US national intelligence chief John Ratcliffe as the director of the CIA.
Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswami also received positions, leading the new Department of Government Efficiency Achievement (DOGE). The name of the new department is similar to the cryptocurrency DOGE, which the entrepreneur supports.
